How it works

How a private tour with us works

From picking a tour to the drop-off at your hotel: what happens, what it costs to add time, and what we do if it rains.

Step by step

  1. Choose your tour

Pick a tour from our tours: a 1970 Cadillac DeVille convertible for the open-air classic, or a private luxury SUV for bigger groups, hot days and longer trips. Not sure which car fits your group? Compare the cars.

Prices are per private group, not per person. Every tour is private: just your group and your guide.

  2. Check dates or ask us

On most tour pages you can check open dates and book online. Some tours are by request: send us your date, group size and hotel through the contact form or WhatsApp, and we will come back with availability and the price.

You pay securely online. What you pay and when varies by tour.

  3. Confirmation

Tours you book online are confirmed instantly. For tours you request, we confirm the date, the car and the price with you before anything is booked.

Tell us what you would love to see, and any birthdays, anniversaries or must-see stops: we build the route around you.

  4. Pickup at your hotel

Complimentary pickup from hotels in Beverly Hills, Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles. Your guide meets you at your hotel’s concierge desk.

Staying in Santa Monica, Anaheim, near LAX or at a private home? Ask us before you book and we will confirm your pickup.

  5. The tour

Your guide drives, so you can look around and take photos. The route is yours to change as you go: stop longer where you like, skip what you don’t.

On a four-hour tour we stop for a tea or coffee break. On a six- or eight-hour tour, tell your guide at the start if you would like a meal stop, and we will plan the day around it.

Want more time? Extra hours are $225 per hour in a Cadillac and $175 per hour in an SUV, on the day, if the car and guide are free.

  6. After the tour

We drop you back at your hotel, or wherever you choose to end the day.

Tipping is always optional. If you had a great time, gratuities are appreciated; 10 to 20 percent is the usual rule of thumb in the US. If you enjoyed it, a review means a lot to a small team: see what other guests wrote.
